Prayer of Thanksgiving and Praise

Today I thank you!  Thank you, Lord, for my life.  Thank you for my health, and healthy family.  Thank you for my Godly spouse and children.  Thank you for shelter, nutrition, exercise, sunshine, and clean water to drink.  Thank you for keeping us safe from harm.  Thank you for financial blessing, friends, and new opportunities.  Thank you for renewing my youth like the eagles and making me a magnet for your Kingdom .  Thank you for never giving up on me, and never letting me give up on you.  Thank you for awakening my spiritual senses.  Thank you for joy and happiness, enjoyment, excitement, and fun.  Thank you for touching people’s lives through me.  Thank you for wanting me to carry Your presence, heal the sick, raise the dead, mend broken hearts, reach the lost, disciple, train, and equip in my sphere of influence.   Thank you for righteousness and the mind of Christ.

Today I praise you!  You are the Alpha and Omega, the bright and morning star.  You are omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent.  You are the author and finisher of my faith.  You are good all the time.  You paid the price for my transgressions and iniquities.  You are my physical, mental, and spiritual healer.  You alone are Lord of my life.  There is no other God before you.  I worship you for your beautiful living creation that surrounds me. I honor your spoken and written words. Your loving kindnesses never cease.  Your compassion never fails.  It is new every morning.  Great is your faithfulness.  I give you my treasure, and with it my heart also.

Create in me a clean heart, Oh God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. You have given me a heart to know you, for you are the Lord.  I am yours and you are my God.  I return to you with my whole heart.  I call upon you and pray to you because you listen to me, you hear me.  I seek you and search for you with all my heart and I know I have found you.  You circumcise my heart and the heart of my descendants to love you with all our hearts and with all our souls, so that we may live.  You have given me a new heart and put a new spirit within me.  You’ve removed my heart of stone and given me a heart of flesh.

Halleluyah – thank you, Lord!
