Your Highest Purpose

Jesus knew His purpose.
John 18:37
Pilate therefore said to Him, “ Are you a King then?”

Jesus answered, “ You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”
For this reason He came.  He came to bring a kingdom!

After it’s all said and done, what will your life stand for?  What will you have stood for?
Will you have represented the Highest purpose of life, or will you be caught in the same net that most people never got out of?
When you step out of one box, there’s a bigger one waiting for you unless you decide to go directly to the oceans where the only one you’re willing to listen to is the Holy Spirit.
I don’t want to live a life where I hear Him only sometimes and other times decide to do things my own way and forget that there’s a greater purpose.
We need to return to Him with all we have and know that where we are is not by mistake.  He’s training us to be great leaders while teaching us so much more about who we are in Him.
Our past has shaped us to expect things to be a certain way.
Our major challenge is to overcome past mindsets.  These are lodged in our souls and telling us how to live life and what to expect when we go one way and what to do when we reach certain impasses of life.
You’ve all heard the saying “Be true to yourself.”  The truth is you must constantly assess where you are going and confirm whether it’s in line with your highest purpose.
What was Paul’s highest purpose?
Philippians 3:12-16
Straining Toward the Goal
Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you. Only let us hold true to what we have attained.
So, what is your highest purpose?
Will you stay in the box where you’ve been typecast like a crab?
Crabs don’t like to see other crabs get out of the box or the can.
Will you do all you can to step out of the box?
Step out with all your strength and all your might!
When you step out, the new season of growth will just begin.
You have stepped out of your comfort zone and what’s waiting on the other side will only stretch you toward the goal for the prize of your upward call.
You may have businesses in you to build, but in the end you will see His Kingdom provide.
You must continue to pray, fast and give!  Can’t stop now.

We'd love to hear from you!
