On Day 1 of my Daniel Fast I had some split pea soup by midday – having totally skipped breakfast.
Then I had a green smoothie later in the day. Later on I snacked on a small fruit and nut bar (all natural).
Finally I had a veggie burger for dinner (no bread, of course).
I drank a lot of water, and I’m still drinking a tall glass as I’m sharing this blog post. I think I only had about 4 glasses today – need more tomorrow!
I prayed during the day and confessed God’s word and listened to it being preached as well on faith and prayer.
Overall, it was an easy day because yesterday we started getting ready.
