Sometimes in life we get used to our comfort zone and think this is it. But as I said in a past Podcast, nothing lasts forever. But that's the problem with a comfort zone. You think it will be there forever, until the carpet is pulled right from under you.
My friend, you are called to go from faith to faith and from glory to glory, which simply means that wherever you are today is not the zenith or apex of your life. You've not arrived just yet. You're called to much more and do do much more.
While it's OK to be content and satisfied, you can't rest on your laurels thinking you've arrived. There's room for improvement and growth in everything you're doing. There are new processes to create and new tasks to delegate. The point is you should always get ready to go higher.
If you want to go higher you're going to have to lay down the easy button, and stretch your neck out once more and go take a risk. Many times, we are afraid to take risks because we like the status quo. I remember what it was like to live in the status quo. I was going nowhere. I was not growing either. Once I decided to go beyond my comfort zone things started changing, and things started breaking down to make room for new innovations.
If you're risk averse, just remember that you're not going to eat the fruit of the land. God has a way of calling the cowards before him to challenge them. Everyone of them who got beyond their fear, ultimately were changed into new men and women. You will have to take a risk on your future, and your vision requires you take risks or you'll never see it come to pass. Are you ready to go for it? Just remember this: No Risk. No Reward.
